If you purchased any Near East brand products other than Near East brand Plain Couscous in the State of California at any time from October 28, 2012 to May 8, 2020, you may be eligible to receive $1.25 for each box purchased, if you submit Proof of Purchase with your Claim Form.

If you no longer have Proof of Purchase, you may still be eligible to receive compensation for up to six (6) boxes purchased, for a maximum of $7.50.

Each Settlement Class Member may file only a single Claim electing either a Benefit with Proof of Purchase, or a Benefit without a Proof of Purchase, but not both. Settlement Class Members who file Claims without Proof of Purchase are limited to one (1) claim per Household.

To be eligible to receive a payment from the class action settlement, you must complete and return this Claim Form online or by U.S. mail to Brannin v. Golden Grain, PO Box 42497, Philadelphia, PA 19101 by August 24, 2020.

Please keep a copy of your completed Claim Form for your records.

Claimant Information

A valid email address is required to permit the Settlement Administrator to verify your Claim. Your email address will not be used for any other purpose and will not be preserved after all Valid Claims have been paid.

Certification

I hereby certify that:

1. The information provided in this Claim Form is accurate and complete to the best of my knowledge, information and belief;

2. Any additional information provided to the Settlement Administrator to support my Claim, such as a proof of purchase, is a complete and true copy of the original document. Claimants are encouraged to preserve their original documents for verification purposes;

3. I am neither (a) a Person who purchased or acquired the Product for resale; (b) an employee, principal, legal representative, successor, or an assign of Golden Grain Company or its affiliated entities; nor am I (c) a judge to whom this Action is assigned, or any member of the judge’s immediate family; and

4. I understand that my claim may be subject to verification and Court review. I further understand that the Settlement Administrator may request additional information to verify my claim, and if I fail to supply that information, my claim may be rejected.

 




This website is authorized by the Court, supervised by counsel and controlled by the Settlement Administrator approved by the Court. This is the only authorized website for this case.

  • Objection Deadline.

    Monday, August 24, 2020 You must mail your objection(s) and/or notice of intent to appear at the Final Approval Hearing so that it/they are postmarked no later than Monday, August 24, 2020.
  • Claim Form Deadline.

    Monday, August 24, 2020 You must submit your Claim Form on-line no later than Tuesday, August 8, 2020, or mail your completed paper Claim Form so that it is postmarked no later than Monday, August 24, 2020.
  • Final Approval Hearing Date.
